I have appreciated the Art tour program , that wisely put in evidence the key artistic features of the 3 times millenarian history of Rome as well as the friendly and warm group spirit , that Glen and Aliki were able to create .

Their high capacity to convey the key messages to better understand the meaning of the various works of art allowed all the participants to enjoy the beauty of magical places like the Pantheon, the Vatican Museum, the Farnesina, the Galleria Doria Pamphili , the Villa Borghese.

I met with Glen a few years ago when I was attending an Art Business: Up-to-the-Minute short course, organised by Christie's Education. Even though Glen was a Programme Director of the course I immediately felt welcomed at one of the oldest auction houses and found him very approachable, extremely knowledgeable and easy to connect with. Glen has a unique quality that makes people feel valued, respected and heard no matter who they are and where they come from. In my case, I was still working at the BBC World Service producing video news and contemplating of changing my career but feared it probably was too late for me starting something completely new in my forties. But after talking with Glen over a coffee (to be honest, in my industry it was nearly impossible to go for a coffee with someone from the top) about his own experiences living in different countries, achieving success by constantly learning something new, it inspired me to listen to my instincts and not being afraid to start a new career. I decided to leave the BBC, after working there for 18 years, and go back to study, and of course I chose Christie's Education. I'm currently studying a year-long Art Career Project course, organised by Glen and his team. I consider Glen as my mentor, he supported me all the way, guided me in my studies and helped me to connect with people from the art world.

But without the intermediation of connoisseurs, scholars and specialists both artists and works of art would remain quite unaccessible. In this regard, Glen Hardwick-Bruce is one of the most talented and effective specialists I have ever had the chance to collaborate with.
