I'm currently working with Dr. Richard McClary, Senior Lecturer in Islamic Art and Architecture at the University of York to arrange a 3 day tour of Istanbul in spring, 2027. Richard received his doctorate from the University of Edinburgh in
2015 and has lectured extensively on a range of subjects related to the Islamic art market, and medieval Islamic art and architecture around the world. He has
also conducted fieldwork in India, Iran, Turkey, Central Asia, North Africa and across the Middle East.
The tour will be preceded by a three session online course on an Introduction to Islamic Art and the market - also led by Richard.
