Lecturer’s Biography
Nico Epstein
Nico Epstein is a curator, art historian and art advisor. He is the co-founder of arbulu studio a cultural consultancy based in Lisbon. Nico is currently acquiring artworks for a burgeoning network of American and Middle Eastern clients. He has helped to arrange more than 20 exhibitions of contemporary art throughout Europe, New York and Hong Kong, focussing mostly on artists of his generation. Nico is a frequent lecturer on contemporary art at Christie’s Education in London where he designed the course The Art Market Online: An Essential Guide. He has taught classes on contemporary art and its markets for Bocconi, The Courtauld, and University College London among other leading universities. Nico has been an art consultant for Frieze for the past five years, organising bespoke tours for their VIP clients as part of the Collect programme.
